Certification Levels
The following three USAPL Coaching Certification levels are offered:
- Club Coach
- Senior National Coach
- Senior International Coach
1. Club Coach -
Coaching Beginner level to State level lifters
Course Covers:
- Rules of Performance
- Meet Preparation and Management
- Equipment Rules, Methods of Training and Preparation
- Evaluation of performance
2. Senior National Coach -
Beginner to National indiv. to team coach. Assist at International events
Course Covers:
- National Meet Management & Strategy
- Handling of teams at National Level
- Advanced meet Prepapration and Training
3. Senior International Coach -
Beginner to International level lifters and teams. International team Head/Assistant coach
Course Covers:
- International meet Management and Strategy
- andling lifters, assistant coaches, and teams at International Level
More Course Details
- Courses are 2 day seminars held in Colorado or at Major Meets. Courses may be scheduled at any location for parties of ten or more.
- Course materials: Comprised of existing texts and articles submitted to The Coaches Committee for approval.
- Coaches with previous experience may apply with our online Powerlifting Coaching Resume to start at the next higher level. World team head coaching experience may allow a coach to start at the Senior International level.
Want to host a Certification Clinic in your town?
We require 8-10 confirmed participants and a venue to host. The venue needs to have a place to hold the classroom portion and the practical portion.
