The girls of the 2001 World team have been looking ahead to 2002. With that said, there is something new and exciting on the horizon. The first premier limited addition of the 2002 Woman's World Team Calendar. Yes, FINALLY a calendar!
The question always arises, 'how do I raise funds to make it to Worlds.' So instead of making it an individual chore, we decided to team up and do something fun together to raise money for ourselves. With the joint efforts of the 2001 Woman's World team members and the coaches, the pages are coming alive with the design expertise of USAPL's own Rick Fowler of www.USAPLNationals.com. Each page is uniquely designed to fit the lifters personality including their individual stats.
What, when, where, why???
What
Well.... the '2002 Calendar' is coming!
When
Look for it hitting the street late fall, early winter, but well in time for making it an ideal Christmas gift or personal gift for the new year!
Where
Keep watching your favorite powerlifting web sites!
Why
The sole purpose of this calendar is to help cover the many expenses involved in traveling to the World competitions, which this coming year is in Germany. 100% of the sales will go to benefit the 2002 competitors of the Woman's Open World Team and their 'official' coaches.
So, if you want a sneak peak or are interested in sponsoring, check out the link below.
A special 'thanks' to each of the girls, the coaches and Rick Fowler, who have volunteered many hours (and I mean MANY hours) helping make this happen. Together we hope to raise some funds for the up and coming trip and disprove the myth that powerlifting girls are not babes!
